A plane is flying from Australia to Los Angeles.  While in the air, you look down beneath the seat in front of you and notice a strange blue light shining through the top of your backpack. You open your backpack and realize that a rock you picked up while you were backpacking through the Austrailian Bush has started to emit a glowing blue light. You don't want to draw attention to yourself so you slowly move your backpack to its place under the seat.



Consumed with questions about the strange rock, you neglect to notice that the terrain outside your window no longer resembles any place on Earth that you've been or studied. When the plane touches down and reaches the jetway, you quickly drape your jacket over the top of your backpack to conceal the strange blue light from the rest of the passengers. As the passengers disembark, they start to experience amnesia - all of the passengers except one. YOU. As everyone begins to wander out of the plane, they act confused and are randomly moving about without direction or purpose. The flight attendants and airport staff direct the passengers out of the plane and onto the tarmack.

It becomes clear to you, by the increasing confusion of the passengers, that the farther they go from the plane on which they flew, the more severe their amnesia becomes. They don't know who they are, where they are, where they've been, or where they are supposed to go. Your mind races. Suddenly, you think about the glowing blue rock in your backpack. Could THIS be the reason for all of the confusion? Did this rock transport the plane and all the passengers to this new destination and cause the amnesia? Since you are the only one who is apparantly uneffected, it will be up to you to find the answers... and find a way back home where you belong.
